Geography

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 55.3 square miles (143 km2), of which, 52.3 square miles (135 km2) of it is land and 3.0 square miles (7.8 km2) of it (5.42%) is water.

Demographics

As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 108 people, 42 households, and 28 families residing in the town. The population density was 2.1 people per square mile (0.8/km²). There were 202 housing units at an average density of 3.9 per square mile (1.5/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 100.00% White.

There were 42 households out of which 33.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 66.7% were married couples living together, and 33.3% were non-families. 23.8% of all households were made up of individuals and 9.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.57 and the average family size was 3.14.

In the town the population was spread out with 24.1% under the age of 18, 5.6% from 18 to 24, 35.2% from 25 to 44, 19.4% from 45 to 64, and 15.7% who were 65 years of age or older.
